Three Ways to Journal

One thing that comes naturally to me is writing. I love to take words and string them into a beautiful sentence. Then, there is another type of writing where I allow the Soul, my Spirit, to flower it's divinity upon me so I may know who I really am.

Words have so much power when spoken, but even more power when written down. When we write, we use our creative power. We take something that is nonphysical and make it physical. We become the medium or the miracle through which manifestation occurs. This is how incredibly powerful we all are!

To tap more into this innate power within, one of the practices I love to do is journal.

Journaling is the experience of embracing and letting go.

Embracing new points of view and letting go of old points of view. By doing this we birth awareness of thinking. When we don't know what we are thinking, we can't understand how we're feeling. To change anything we must begin by wanting to know why we feel the way we feel and think the way we think.

Go into a journaling session with an open mind, curiosity and detachment. There is not a right or wrong way to journal - only the way which feels right for you. Don't try to filter anything, allow it all to come forth. The more you remain without judging what needs to be written - the more naturally your writing will flow.
