How to Transcend your Suffering

We can't change what we aren't aware of.

Suffering.

It feels very heavy to sit in this energy. If you've ever felt pain either physically or emotionally then you've suffered.

I have sat with this energy for a very very very long time. The only emotions I could feel were: fleeting moments of deep pain, loneliness, abandonment and depression. This all perpetuated my suffering. I have shared before why I was committed to my suffering and how I now understand that it will never serve me.

Everything is a choice. How you feel is a choice too.

Yes, you can choose how you want to feel.

When you choose to suffer, you choose to live in victim consciousness, despair, hopelessness and in darkness. You choose to be attached to suffering because it feels comfortable and known, but have you stopped to ask yourself why am I so attached to something that doesn't feel good?

When we understand why we choose to suffer, then we can free ourselves from suffering.

I talk about how we can stop our suffering and share a practice you can do to ease your pain. 🌳 Join Free Online Community, True Self Tribe: http://bit.ly/tr...

Exercise: take a blank piece of paper, draw a line down the middle, on the left side write: why is suffering serving me? On the right side write: why is suffering not serving me?When you ask yourself these questions, you'll begin to bring awareness to the role you've given suffering to play in your life. As you do that you can begin to have more clarity because we can't change what we aren't aware of.

Because you have the strength to endure, you have the strength to get through.

We can begin today to feel better, by reaching for a better feeling thought. Ask yourself: what right now can I think of that makes me feel some relief? Is it the sound of a bird chirping, the sun rays warming up your face, the ability to see in color, a text message from a friend? Pick one loving thought, let it allow to give you a big warm hug as it proclaims to you: Darling, I am here for you.

Be patient. Be gentle. Be kind.
